I know this is an old post, but I just finished this series and was scrolling around reading people's thoughts about it. Apparently they changed a lot compared to the novels, so if you are looking for a faithful adaptation you will be disappointed.

Younger viewers (traditional Hardy Boys target ages) might find it more engaging.
